At ONE.Jewelry, we carefully select materials that are beautiful, comfortable to wear and suitable for everyday jewelry.

Our pieces are mainly made with gold-filled, gold-plated, sterling silver and stainless steel, together with freshwater pearls and natural stones.

We choose good-quality materials so your jewelry can stay with you for as long as possible. However, all jewelry naturally changes over time, and its appearance and lifespan will depend on how often it is worn and how it is cared for.

Gold-Plated

Gold-plated jewelry has a layer of gold applied over a base metal.

For our gold-plated pieces, we choose quality plating with an additional protective finish whenever possible to help the colour last longer. However, gold plating is not permanent and may gradually fade with regular wear.

To keep your jewelry looking its best, avoid frequent contact with water, perfume, skincare products, cleaning products and other chemicals. Sweat, friction and daily wear can also gradually affect the plated surface.

We select materials that are comfortable for most people to wear, but as everyone's skin is different, we cannot guarantee that our jewelry will be suitable for all skin sensitivities or allergies.

Gold-Filled

Gold-filled jewelry contains a thicker layer of gold that is mechanically bonded to a base metal, making it generally more durable than standard gold plating.

With proper care, gold-filled jewelry can maintain its appearance for a long time. However, it is still different from solid gold and can naturally change with wear over time.

For the best results, we recommend caring for your gold-filled jewelry gently and avoiding unnecessary contact with chemicals, perfume and skincare products.

Sterling Silver

Our sterling silver jewelry is made from 925 sterling silver, consisting of 92.5% silver and 7.5% other metals.

Sterling silver can naturally tarnish over time when exposed to air, moisture and certain chemicals. This is normal and does not mean that your jewelry is damaged.

If your silver jewelry becomes darker, gently clean it with a soft silver polishing cloth. When you're not wearing it, keep it clean and dry and store it separately to help reduce oxidation and scratches.

Stainless Steel

Stainless steel is a durable material with good resistance to corrosion and everyday wear. It is a great choice for jewelry that you want to wear regularly.

Although stainless steel is generally low-maintenance, we still recommend keeping it away from harsh chemicals and storing it separately from other jewelry to prevent scratches.

A Little Care Goes a Long Way ♡

Jewelry is made to be worn and enjoyed, and a little care can help it stay beautiful for longer.

We recommend removing your jewelry before showering, swimming, exercising or sleeping, especially for gold-plated pieces.

Keep your jewelry away from perfume and skincare products when possible, and store each piece separately in a dry place when you're not wearing it.
